Week 12
We have now presented our ideas and film to our classmates. The presentation went well and we got some positive feedback on our film. One comment praised the music choice and how it fitted well with the moving images. We are almost finished with the project and just need to tidy up the audio of the film. One last job now to write the evaluation of the entire project.

Week 10
My partner Bex and I have begun to edit the contrast of the photos taken on the shoot. There are a large number of images that need editing so we are using our free time to make use of the computer labs. We will then begin to put the photos together using Adobe Flash. Recently we have been discussing the choice of song to put over the film. Originally, we were both decided on using a reggae ska band, The Skints. However, from looking at the rhythm of the film, none of these tracks gel well together. Therefore we have decided to experiment with Mumford & Sons and Florence & The Machine.
Step-by-step process of editing photos: (Using Photoshop)
Image-> adjustments -> Colour Contrast
Image-> adjustments -> Brightness & Contrast 74 & 100
Image-> image size -> resolution 72
Image-> image size -> width 550 & height 400
Save as-> (number)res.jpg Max 12->

Film cont.
I have continued to add images to the stop motion movie. I have planned to possibly use text masking to the opening titles to add interest and match the theme of the overall movie. I believe that this will make the final movie look more professional. These images will need to be editedso that they are brighter and clearer on screen.
Creating the narrative: Stage 1 Week 9
Week 8 of the project and I have uploaded images and begun to edit them in a stop motion format on Adobe Flash. I am using this as practice. I will go on to edit the photos during week 10.

Project Material Week 7 & 8
The photographs have now been taken and we are both pleased with the outcome. Therefore, we are now ready to edit the photos using software such as Photoshop and Flash. This will involve adapting the colour, brightness and size of all images.

Project aims Week 6
This week, I discussed with my partner where and when we should photograph the band for our final piece. As we were unable to take photographs previously due to short notice we discussed future dates. It transpired that there are very few opportunities in the near future. Therefore we have decided not to use a live band in order to save time. We will now be taking photographs of a friend playing a guitar in an open space such as a park etc. This will save time and will enable us to begin the editing process at a much earlier stage, hopefully in week 7.
